The CGTF Gets Mail
You are probably not surprised to hear that the CGTF gets some interesting mail. Not every day, but from time to time, someone feels the need to let us know that they do not appreciate our efforts to help the unfortunate victims of Goat Trauma. We also get a fair amount of email from those poor souls who just do not understand our mission. We have below for your enjoyment, a selection of some of the emails we have received over the years. All originating email addresses have been removed for the protection of the questionably innocent. All typos and spelling errors remain as originally received.

To Whom It May Concern:
This has got to be a joke. If it isn't--some of you badly need to get a life

Subject: I take that back
Even if it is a joke---you still need a life. Who would spend time on such nonsense?

I am a goat rancher in Ely, Nevada where we have approximately 2500 Boer and Dairy goats, raised mainly for their meat and milk. I resent the fact that you malign these poor creatures, the gentlest creatures on this earth. Goats don’t attack humans; humans attack goats! I demand a review of the statistic you use on your site, it appears to me that you use voodoo science in your statistics. Just because you had a traumatic experience with a goat (probably because you fell in front of some poor goat), does not mean you have to goat trauma counseling. I suggest you have bigger issues that you require counseling for.
I have seen humans attack my goats as they peacefully grazed in the hills around my ranch. Those devious bastards would perform lewd acts with the does while the bucks looked on helplessly. As an act of vengeance, these perverted humans would shoot the does, probably because they didn’t struggle enough while they performed their atrocities. I contend humans are a much bigger threat than goats!

Subject: CUTE SITE BUT....
YOU had me at first. But seriously, as a petting zoo owner and goat lover, your site has been taken literally by many and is hurting petting zoos nationwide. What's the deal?

you really found a place on the world wide web...and goat danger....eh,
The slugs around here are freaking out all the kids, they can't get enough of them! Can you help stopping all "animals from being animals"? Can you get me a shirt made? Do any of these children have parents supervising while at the petting zoo?
What zoo's are they visiting? Perhaps the adults you speak of should seek psychiatric counseling? My time here is spent. Goats are impressive animals, to say the least. Look around. Goats? It will be okay my friend.

What the heck is goat-trauma. Who is scared of goats and why?

Subject: This site is ridiculous as it does not give the true message of goats. There are breeders out there highly offended by this website including myself. Goats do not attack and eat everything in site. Goats make some of the best pets and are not meat eaters. I hope you mean for this site to be a joke a this is pathetic.
Anonymous in PA
(We find this email to be rather humorous, as Ms Zeiglar thinks she's "Anonymous in PA" but is in fact clueless that her work email has her full name attached to the account. I'm sure a number of Allegheny Energy customers would be thrilled to know this is how their energy dollars are being spent.)

do people really need counseling just over a fucking goat. i mean come on! i love my two goats.i would marry them if it was legal. my goats have done some weird stuff to me, but i'm not at all traumatized. i think i needed the experiance. this is an outrage to goats everywhere. you need to be ashamed of yourselves. i hope you go to jail for this.
(Apparently the bestiality crowd is now stopping by goat-trauma.org. We really have to wonder about the general population of netizens these days.)
